Some of the noteworthy efforts and activities that gained recognition include “UN”—The Grand Opening of AIA Myanmar, which featured five artfully designed rooms, inspired by local culture, and attracted nearly 2,000 visitors; AIA Khit, the art-saturated member center in the heart of downtown Yangon that promotes learning, community, diversity and art; Healthier, Longer, Better Lives Back Alley in which AIA, in collaboration with a local NGO and Myanmar artists, beautified and equipped an alleyway for the community to pursue healthy activities; AIA GO FOR LIGHT!, a 5KM run in Bagan (the country’s cultural center) that attracted 200 participants and donated 100 solar panels for 100 households in Tu Ywin Taing; and Yangon Circular Train CSR which distributed tote bags to commuters to reduce plastic waste and encourage sustainability.

“We’re honored to receive these awards that reflect how the country’s diverse arts, cultures and communities invigorate everything we do. We owe our success to the wonderful people of Myanmar,” said Mr. Luc Ly, the CEO of AIA Myanmar. “To share our mission to promote Healthier, Longer, Better Lives, we introduced people here to the benefits of life insurance, a still-new service for many.
